On February 27 in Hanoi , the Council of Outstanding Young Faces of the Army held a conference to vote for outstanding young faces and promising young faces of the army in 2023.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau - Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, Chairman of the Council of Outstanding Young Faces of the Army Award chaired the conference.
The Outstanding Young Faces of the Army Award is an award given to soldiers, civil servants, public employees, workers, contract workers working in the Army and people working in cryptographic organizations under the Government Cipher Committee under the age of 35.
At the same time, have outstanding achievements in the fields of training, combat readiness, combat, combat service; teaching, learning, scientific research; labor, production, business, cultural activities, literature, art, journalism; sports and other fields of military and defense activities.
At the conference, the Award Council thoroughly discussed and voted to select 10 outstanding young faces of the entire army and 35 promising young faces of the entire army in 2023.
On this occasion, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau requested the Military Youth Committee to coordinate with relevant agencies and units to do well all preparations for the program to honor outstanding young faces of the entire army and promising young faces of the entire army in 2023.
Besides, ensure good policies and regimes for young faces to be commended according to regulations and promote propaganda work before, during and after commendation, creating a spreading effect throughout the army and the whole country.
