On the afternoon of September 30, the Standing Committee of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.

Comrade Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission, presented the Politburo's decision on the transfer, assignment, and appointment of Comrade Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Attending the conference were comrade Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission; representatives of a number of central ministries and branches; leaders of Thai Nguyen province and departments, branches and localities in the province.

At the conference, the leaders of the Central Organizing Committee announced the Politburo's Decision on the transfer, assignment and appointment of comrade Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Le Minh Hung congratulated the Party Committee, government and people of Thai Nguyen on receiving the Politburo's attention to perfecting key personnel. He affirmed that the transfer and assignment of comrade Trinh Xuan Truong to the position of Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee demonstrated the trust and expectations of the Politburo and the Central Executive Committee for him as well as for the collective Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Committee. The Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and leaders at all levels and sectors in the province continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, unity, sharing and support so that comrade Trinh Xuan Truong can successfully fulfill his responsibilities in his new position.

The Head of the Central Organizing Committee emphasized that Thai Nguyen has an important strategic position in terms of economy, politics, national defense and security. The 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030 discussed and approved many important contents. In particular, in the term 2020-2025, despite many difficulties and challenges, the Party Committee, government and people of Thai Nguyen have united, made efforts, successfully carried out the tasks of the term, achieved comprehensive and important results in all fields, especially since Thai Nguyen province was established.

The Politburo requested Comrade Trinh Xuan Truong to closely follow the direction of the Central Committee, focus on promulgating and implementing the action program to implement the Congress resolution; promptly develop working regulations, arrange cadres after the Congress to ensure democracy, objectivity, and proper procedures; at the same time promote the spirit of solidarity, innovation, and creativity in the entire Party. The Head of the Central Organizing Committee expressed his belief that Comrade Trinh Xuan Truong and the Party Committee, government and people of Thai Nguyen will continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, solidarity, and determination to successfully implement the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, building Thai Nguyen into a modern industrial center, a dynamic growth pole of the Northern midland and mountainous region.
