More than 95% of graduates are accepted into jobs by businesses.

(Dan Tri) - On November 15, Quang Nam College opened the new school year 2024-2025, celebrating the 42nd anniversary of the education sector's tradition and receiving the decision to recognize the school as meeting Vocational Education quality standards.

Quang Nam College, established from the merger of 2 colleges and 2 secondary schools in Quang Nam, officially came into operation in June 2021.

After more than three years, the school has achieved remarkable success, becoming one of the largest schools in the province and one of the largest schools in the country.

Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Thi Phuong Anh, Principal of Quang Nam College, said that in the 2024-2025 school year, the school has enrolled more than 1,700 students.

"This year's enrollment results are the highest in recent years. This is truly a good thing, recognizing the efforts of the school's teachers," Ms. Phuong Anh shared.

Currently, the school has 3,700 students studying various professions. In the past two years, many students of the school have been honored by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs as outstanding students nationwide.

Regarding facilities, equipment is fully equipped to serve training and meet teaching requirements. The school also focuses on building policies and quality goals for vocational education facilities to implement annually.

After three years of self-assessment, in 2024, the school completed the assessment survey and was officially recognized as meeting the quality accreditation standards for vocational education institutions on November 11.

In the 2024-2025 school year, the school will continue to focus on enrollment and improving training quality, opening new majors to meet labor market needs. The school will also focus on training teachers to meet the requirements of applying science and technology, digital transformation in management and training.

In particular, the school will carry out assessment and accreditation of five training programs, prioritizing key national occupations with high employment demand, in order to meet national and regional training program accreditation standards.

Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Vice Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged the school's efforts over the past three years, especially in connecting with businesses to send students to work in Japan after graduation.

In the last school year, more than 92% of students achieved good academic results and graduated with a good grade of over 90%. More than 95% of graduates were accepted into businesses, marking a major step forward in the school's training quality.
