Young people and trends on National Day September 2

Although there are still two weeks to go until National Day, September 2, the atmosphere of celebration is already bustling everywhere. The streets are decorated with flags and flowers; on social networks, people across the country, especially the youth, express their love and national pride in many creative and emotional ways.

At Vo Nguyen Giap Square (Phan Dinh Phung Ward), the image of young people in traditional ao dai and scarves printed with small flags has caused a "fever" on social networks and quickly become a trend ahead of National Day September 2 this year.

Nguyen Ngoc Quyen, Phan Dinh Phung ward, shared: I spent a lot of time choosing costumes and coming up with ideas with the hope that each photo would not only be beautiful but also convey a message of patriotism, national pride, appreciation of historical values ​​and connection with the glorious history of the country.

Patriotism is not only reflected in beautiful photos but also permeates the daily lives of young people. They find joy in simple but meaningful things, such as walking into a coffee shop where every corner is bright red with a yellow star. From workshops painting conical hats printed with flags to products such as key chains, hair clips, notebooks… all are dressed in the colors of the Fatherland.

Cao Thu Hang, a craft instructor in the workshop “I love my national flag”, shared: Although I have participated in many workshops, I am still very moved by this program. I want children to nurture their patriotism from an early age. The flag-printed products made by the children will accompany them to parades, marches, and join the crowd in events celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day.

Loving the homeland is not an abstract thing, but is clearly present in every action and gesture of young people. These seemingly simple trends have a strong influence, connecting the hearts of millions of Vietnamese people. It is not only a greeting to celebrate the 80th Independence Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), but also a vivid proof of the patriotic spirit that always burns in the hearts of the nation, in all times, in all generations - especially among today's youth.
