VHO - After 5 nights of eye-catching competition, the qualifying round of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival - DIFF 2025 officially ended on the evening of June 28, with a top-notch competition between two "giants" Korea and Italy.

Despite the unexpected rain at the beginning of the night, more than 10,000 spectators still stayed in the rain to enjoy the fireworks and music festival in the sky above the Han River.

Korean rookie stirs up the competition night with "Flying Dragon Dance"

According to records, from 7 p.m., tens of thousands of people and tourists poured into the DIFF 2025 stands, turning the central streets of Da Nang into a sea of ​​people and brilliant lights.

In the 5th competition night, the Faseecom fireworks team (Korea) participated for the first time but left a strong impression with the performance "Flying Dragon Dance".

Inspired by the Dragon symbol and the rising aspirations of the modern city of Da Nang, the Korean team told a cinematic story of light. Opening gently with the melody of “Fanfare”, the soft fireworks led the audience into a sparkling, dream-like space.

The climax of the performance exploded when the rap melody Home Sweet Home by star G-Dragon rang out, yellow and blue fireworks continuously exploded, weaving a brilliant picture in the sky.

The 10,000-seat grandstand exploded with the energetic, rapid rhythm of the fireworks, symbolizing the youthful and vibrant spirit of Da Nang in the digital age.

The performance ended with Undefeated , an indomitable declaration of the desire to conquer the future. Hundreds of large fireworks burst into the image of a soaring dragon, leaving a strong echo in the audience's hearts.

“Watching the fireworks was like attending a top-notch concert. The music and lights were so perfectly combined, the emotions were truly explosive. I will definitely return to Da Nang in the following fireworks seasons,” said Ms. Nguyen Thu Trang (a tourist from Hanoi ).

Not to be outdone, Martarello Group SRL (Italy) continued with “Chorus of Light - Opening the Future”, a visual journey combined with rich music, taking the audience from passionate rock to romantic opera.

At the beginning, a series of red high-altitude fireworks exploded with the music of Blood Sport and Aphelion , making the whole audience excited. The effects of fan-shaped fireworks, cascading water cannons, and multi-colored fireworks coordinated harmoniously to create an "action movie" right in the sky of Da Nang.

When the cheerful jazz melodies rang out, the fireworks suddenly changed to a gentle, romantic rhythm. In particular, a series of Vietnamese songs such as Chuyen cu bo qua , Bong bong bang bang appeared, the brilliant fireworks danced in harmony, bringing a feeling of closeness, making many audiences suddenly cheer.

The climax ended when the immortal love song Time to say Goodbye by Andrea Bocelli resounded, hundreds of fireworks exploded into a spectacular "rain of light" covering the entire stadium.

“The Italian team has always played very well. This year, there are many outstanding teams, from Vietnam, Portugal, China… I bought tickets for the final in advance, my whole family is eagerly waiting to watch the final match,” commented Hoang Ha, a Da Nang spectator.

Brilliant art stage, closing the qualifying round with full emotions

Not only did it explode in the sky, the stage on the banks of the Han River also became a highlight when it gathered many famous artists. “Beautiful sister” Duong Hoang Yen, singer Le Anh Dung and dancesport champion Hoang My An brought a series of elaborately staged performances, adding fire to the festival atmosphere.

The final competition night ended completely, explosively and left many regretful emotions when the DIFF 2025 qualifying round officially ended.

With the outstanding professional quality of this year's teams, the judges are expected to have a difficult time selecting the two best teams to enter the finals.

Musician Nguyen Duc Trinh - member of the DIFF 2025 Jury - commented: "This year, all the competing teams have very good professional quality, no team is really weak. Notably, Z121 Vina Pyrotech has made a strong breakthrough, receiving a lot of love from Da Nang people and fireworks viewing audiences.

The final results still need to be discussed thoroughly by the Jury tomorrow, but clearly, this year saw an impressive rise from first-time teams.

Meanwhile, experienced teams such as Italy, China, Finland, and Poland still maintain stable performance. Emotions from the audience, the masses, along with professional analysis from the audience will be the basis for tomorrow to choose two worthy names to enter the final."

The list of two teams competing for the DIFF 2025 championship trophy will be announced on the afternoon of June 29. The final night will take place at 8:10 p.m. on July 12 and will be broadcast live on VTV1 channel.
