"Golden Bell of Traditional Opera" contestants visit veteran artists

"Golden Bell of Traditional Opera" has been organized by Ho Chi Minh City Television for the past 20 years.

Before entering the final round of the 20th "Golden Bell of Traditional Music" contest - 2025, 9 promising faces visited and expressed gratitude to the veteran artists living at Thi Nghe Nursing Home (HCMC).

This is an opportunity for the young generation to express their feelings to their predecessors and create humane connections, reminding them of the responsibility to preserve the flow of traditional national art, including Cai Luong.

In a friendly atmosphere, the contestants met and chatted intimately with the artists: writer Mac Can, Meritorious Artist Dieu Hien, artists Huynh Thanh Tra, Lam Son, Ngoc Dang.

Despite their old age and poor health, the faces of the veteran artists still shine with joy and pride when seeing the young generation passionate about and pursuing traditional art.

"Golden Bell of Traditional Music" has been organized by Ho Chi Minh City Television for the past 20 years. This visit to Thi Nghe Nursing Home by promising faces is a beautiful testament to the tradition of "remembering the source of drinking water".
