Over 1,000 people participate in the Red Journey 2025

On July 19, at the Provincial Youth Culture and Sports Center, the Provincial Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee coordinated with the Central Red Journey Organizing Committee in 2025 to organize the Blood Donation Festival "Red Drops of Tuyen Quang" and honor outstanding blood donors of Tuyen Quang province in 2025.

Attending the opening ceremony were comrade Ma Thi Thuy, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; leaders of the National Blood Center, the National Red Journey Organizing Committee and over 1,000 union members, youth, volunteers, civil servants, armed forces and people.

Comrade Ma Thi Thuy, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, awarded Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee to individuals with outstanding achievements in the voluntary blood donation movement.

In recent years, the voluntary blood donation movement in Tuyen Quang has been implemented with attention from all levels and sectors with many forms of mobilization and rich propaganda, attracting the participation of a large number of people, especially union members and youth. Every year, the whole province organizes 16 voluntary blood donation campaigns, attracting over 7,000 volunteers to directly donate blood; the amount of blood received has increased from 3,000 to 6,000 units of blood/year. Up to now, the amount of blood for emergency care and treatment of patients at medical facilities in the province has met over 60%.

Leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society awarded Certificates of Merit to individuals with outstanding achievements in the voluntary blood donation movement.

This is the 12th year the "Red Drops of Tuyen" Voluntary Blood Donation Festival has been organized, responding to the 13th "Red Journey" Program which will be held in 32/34 provinces and cities.

After the launching ceremony, a large number of union members and young people participated in donating blood, reaching 782 units of blood, exceeding the target of 282 units of blood, reaching 156.5%.

Workers, civil servants, armed forces and people participate in blood donation at the Festival.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 11 individuals with outstanding achievements in the voluntary blood donation movement in 2025; the Provincial Red Cross Association awarded Certificates of Merit to 18 individuals with outstanding achievements in the voluntary blood donation movement in the province.
