On September 5, in the solemn atmosphere of the 80th anniversary of the Education sector's tradition and the 30th anniversary of the school's founding, Hung Vuong University, Ho Chi Minh City (DHV) held the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year.
The event not only welcomed new students of the 2025-2029 course but also strongly affirmed the strategic goal of becoming an application-oriented university following the startup model, responding to the spirit of innovation and creation that the whole industry is aiming for.
In the special atmosphere of the ceremony, teachers and students of the school listened to the important message of General Secretary To Lam , emphasizing the need for the education sector to strongly innovate its thinking and actions, shifting from "corrective" reform to creative thinking - leading national development through education.
This directive sets out requirements for creating breakthroughs in higher education, promoting integration, promoting digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI) in education.
Dr. Tran Viet Anh - Permanent Vice Chairman of the School Council - Vice Principal in charge of the school, said that after 30 years of formation and development (1995 - 2025), training nearly 30,000 high-quality intellectuals, the school is entering a new journey with a strategic vision to become an application-oriented university following the leading startup model.

According to Mr. Viet Anh, this is a key step to meet the needs of the labor market and anticipate the country's development trends. At the same time, today's event is a reminder of our responsibility to continue promoting tradition and improving the quality of education.
“DHV is committed to continuing to innovate, invest in facilities, and improve the capacity of its teaching staff to train generations of students who are both professionally competent, skilled, and courageous, ready to start a business and integrate internationally,” he emphasized.
