How to confirm admission to grade 10 in Hanoi?

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced on July 1 the benchmark scores of 127 public specialized and non-specialized high schools. According to the plan, admitted students will start school from 1:30 p.m. on July 5 and end on July 7.

Confirm admission before 24 hours on 7-7

Candidates can choose to confirm admission to grade 10 online or in person.

For the online form, candidates must access the city's primary information portal at https://tsdaucap.hanoi.gov.vn , log in with the account and password provided before the exam. Then, candidates select the name of the admitted wish and click on confirm admission. After completing, candidates choose to print or save the confirmation slip.

In case of direct admission, candidates need to submit a copy of the 10th grade exam results from the high school they have been admitted to and wish to enroll in. The school will confirm the admission into the system and print the confirmation notice for the candidate.

For non-specialized groups, the Department of Education and Training allows candidates to have 3 wishes. However, if a candidate passes the first wish, he/she will not be considered for the second and third wishes. Only candidates who fail the first wish will be considered for the second wish. If they fail the second wish, then they will be considered for the third wish.

The second choice score will be 1.0 point higher than the school's standard score, the third choice score will be 2.0 points higher than the standard score.

But in addition to the only wish to pass the entrance exam to a public high school for non-specialized students, candidates can also pass the entrance exam to specialized schools, dual baccalaureate programs, dual French programs, French language enhancement programs...

In case of being admitted to both specialized and non-specialized schools and the dual baccalaureate program, candidates will only be confirmed for admission to one single choice.

With the online form, within the allowed time, candidates have the right to change their wishes and reconfirm on the system. But after the deadline, candidates will not be able to adjust their wishes anymore.

However, with the direct form, candidates will not be able to adjust their wishes but must contact the school to request cancellation of confirmation, then submit a new application to confirm their wishes.

Notes on admission documents

On July 2, high schools in Hanoi will officially announce the admission scores. After confirming their admission, candidates will submit their admission applications to the school.

Admission documents include:

Grade 10 exam results report;

Birth certificate (copy with original for comparison);

Secondary school diploma (or temporary secondary school graduation certificate);

Transcript;

Citizen identification card or legal proof of residence in Hanoi of the candidate or guardian, certificate of priority status issued by a competent authority, permission to skip a grade, or to enter school early or late compared to general regulations;

Certificate of "not serving a prison sentence, non-custodial reform or violating the law" issued by the commune-level authority (for independent candidates who graduated from junior high school in previous years).
