The patient was taken to the emergency room at Thuyen Chai Island. The patient was taken to Thuyen Chai Island Infirmary for emergency treatment. Determining this to be a serious trauma and multiple trauma, doctors at Thuyen Chai Island performed first aid and, in coordination with Navy Region 4, transferred the patient to Truong Sa Island Infirmary for treatment.

The patient was admitted to Truong Sa Island Infirmary in a state of contact, severe abdominal pain, pale skin and mucous membranes, and abdominal bleeding due to a grade 3-4 liver rupture. "During the transport process, we always closely monitored the developments of the two patients. For patients with multiple injuries, the transport process was monitored very closely, doctors always prepared for the situation where the patient progressed to massive bleeding, possibly leading to hemorrhagic shock. During the transport, the patient was transfused with blood, given fluids, kept warm and closely monitored to ensure safe air transport," said Captain Nguyen Canh Chung.

At the Emergency Department, the two patients continued to be screened for injuries, then consulted with the hospital to determine the next course of treatment.
