Hanoi trains 100 core teachers, aiming at dual-degree teaching

(Dan Tri) - 100 excellent teachers from high schools have been selected by Hanoi to be trained as the core to implement the National Foreign Language Project 2025.

The Opening Ceremony of the English training course and teaching methods for teachers of math, science , physics, chemistry, and IT under the Cambridge dual degree program in Hanoi took place on the morning of September 9.

This is a key strategic activity in implementing the National Foreign Language Project 2025 of the Ministry of Education and Training , and at the same time concretizes Hanoi's plan on teaching and learning foreign languages ​​in general schools by 2025.

Directly teaching this core team of teachers are lecturers from the Institute for Training and Economic Development (ITED).

Mr. Tran The Cuong - Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training - said that teachers participating in this course can propose to build an international integrated teaching program and training key personnel at the schools where they work. The Department supports schools to implement this model in the future.

“The organizers hope that each teacher will participate in the course with a spirit of learning, seriousness, creativity and discipline, maximize responsibility, proactively practice to meet international standards, and open the door to teaching under the dual degree model in the future.

The success of this course is not only measured by the number of study hours or the certificates achieved, but more importantly, by the change in thinking, teaching methods, language ability and confidence of each teacher after completing the program," the Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training emphasized.

The course is scheduled to run from now until the end of December. At the end of the course, teachers will take the exam and receive the Cambridge University International Integrated Teaching Methodology certificate - one of the most prestigious certificates, recognized in more than 200 countries.
