Quang Nam trains skills for community digital technology teams

On August 28, the Department of Information and Communications of Quang Nam province coordinated with the National Digital Transformation Agency (Ministry of Information and Communications) to organize a training course on universalizing community digital skills for members of the community digital technology team.

At the training course, Mr. Mai Thanh Hai (National Digital Transformation Agency) presented an overview of the community digital technology team, shared stories of implementation and reality in localities across the country.

Accordingly, the community digital technology team is one of the solutions and initiatives of the Ministry of Information and Communications deployed nationwide. With the purpose of communicating and propagating to each citizen knowledge about digital transformation, popularizing community digital skills, guiding people to use digital platforms and digital services to solve daily essential needs, thereby promoting the development of digital society.

Through the community digital technology team, policies and guidelines on national digital transformation from the central to local levels, directly to the people, are implemented quickly, effectively and promptly.

The community digital technology team in Quang Nam in particular and the whole country in general has directly supported and guided people in using smart technology applications, e-commerce, public administrative services; participating in digital transformation in every area of ​​life.

It is known that the whole Quang Nam province currently has 1,218 community digital technology teams/1,240 villages, with over 7,000 members. Each community digital technology team has at least 5-6 members, including commune officials, party cell secretaries, youth union branches, women's unions, farmers' unions, etc.
