Leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Quang Ngai said that up to now, preparations for auctioning mineral mines in the western region of the province have been completed.
During this period, Quang Ngai province will auction 18 mineral mines of various types used as common construction materials, including 4 fill mines, 6 stone mines and 8 sand mines.
Specifically, the 4 mines have an exploitation area of about 1.9 hectares at location 1, with forecasted exploitation resources of 357,200 m3; location 2 has an area of 2.1 hectares, with forecasted exploitation resources of 161,700 m3.
Location 3 has an area of 6.5 hectares, with forecasted exploitation resources of 390,000 m3 and the remaining location has an area of 4.7 hectares, with forecasted exploitation resources of 469,200 m3.
For the 6 quarries, location 1 has an area of 2 hectares, with forecast resources of 420,000 m3; location 2 has an area of 1.5 hectares, with forecast resources of 360,000 m3; location 3 has an area of 11.8 hectares, with forecast resources of 354,000 m3.
Location 4 has an area of 11.8 hectares, forecast resources of 354,000 m3; location 5 has an area of 5.3 hectares, forecast resources of 795,000 m3 and the last location has an area of 1.3 hectares, forecast resources of 130,000 m3.
For the 6 sand mines, location 1 has an area of 1 hectare, with forecast resources of 10,000 m3; location 2 has an area of 8.2 hectares, with forecast resources of 15,481 m3; location 3 has an area of 8.32 hectares, with forecast resources of 83,200 m3; location 4 has an area of 2.89 hectares, with forecast resources of more than 24,000 m3.
Location 5 has an area of 20 hectares, forecast resources of 200,000 m3; location 6 has an area of 0.8 hectares, forecast resources of 8,000 m3; location 7 has an area of 1.2 hectares, forecast resources of 12,000 m3 and the last location has an area of 2.24 hectares, forecast resources of 22,960 m3.
The total deposit to participate in the auction of 18 mineral mines of soil, stone and sand for common construction materials mentioned above is nearly 3 billion VND. The expected auction time is on the morning of July 16, 2025, in Kon Tum ward, Quang Ngai province.
Leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Quang Ngai said that organizing auctions of mineral mines for common construction materials in the West of the province, in addition to meeting people's needs, also ensures supply for construction projects and public investment works in this area.
