Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced exam results and benchmark scores for grade 10 admission.

GD&TĐ - On the evening of July 4, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced the test scores of candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam along with the admission standards of each school.

The new point in the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year is that the exam scores and benchmark scores are announced at the same time.

The formula for calculating the public 10th grade exam scores has changed compared to last year, that is, the scores of the three subjects including Literature, Foreign Language and Math are all calculated with a coefficient of 1 (in previous years, the scores of the Literature and Math exams were calculated with a coefficient of 2, the scores of the Foreign Language exams were calculated with a coefficient of 1).

It is expected that by July 8 at the latest, schools will receive the exam result reports to issue to students. Students who wish to appeal their results can submit their applications from July 4 to July 10.

From July 10 to July 12, admitted students must confirm their enrollment.

The entrance exam for grade 10 public high schools for the 2025-2026 school year in the city took place on June 7 and 8 with more than 102,000 candidates taking the exam. Candidates applying for grade 10 at public high schools will take three exams, including Literature, Foreign Language and Math (all exams have a coefficient of 1).

For candidates applying to grade 10 of specialized high schools, in addition to these 3 exams, candidates will take additional exams in specialized subjects (the exam score of the specialized subject is calculated with a coefficient of 2).
