1 year suspension from school for 4 students who beat up 11th grade female student

(Dan Tri) - The Disciplinary Council of Nong Cong 2 High School, Nong Cong District, Thanh Hoa Province has decided to suspend four students who beat up an 11th grade female student for one year.

On the morning of February 18, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Dung, Chief Inspector of the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Hoa province, said that Nong Cong 2 High School, Nong Cong district, held a disciplinary council meeting and decided to suspend four students who beat up an 11th grade female student for one year.

These four female students include: Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh (class 12A3), Nguyen Thi Giang (class 12A2), Hoang Thi Huyen Trang (class 12A30) and Vu Le Tram (class 12A4).

During the time off from school, the above students must work with their families, schools, and local residents to implement a number of other educational measures according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training .

Previously, on October 5, 2024, a group of students from Nong Cong 2 High School had a conflict and invited each other to Thai Son village, Tan Phuc commune, Nong Cong district to resolve the conflict.

At this time, female student LVGN (class 11A6) intervened when she saw a friend near her house being beaten, but was then attacked and injured by Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh, Nguyen Thi Giang, Hoang Thi Huyen Trang, Vu Le Tram, Nguyen Thi Anh, and Le Phuong Dung.

Through investigation, the police determined that the group of students who beat N. were studying at Nong Cong High School and Nong Cong 2 High School. The results of the examination showed that female student N. suffered 23% health damage. N. then had to take a year off from school to receive treatment.

On December 9, the Investigation Police Department of Nong Cong District Police prosecuted Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh, Nguyen Thi Giang, Hoang Thi Huyen Trang, Nguyen Thi Anh, Le Phuong Dung, and Vu Le Tram for the crime of Intentional Infliction of Injury.
