Training on aquaculture techniques

On May 15, the Provincial Cooperative Union organized a training course on aquaculture techniques in 2024 for aquaculture cooperatives in the province.

At the training class, trainees were introduced to freshwater aquaculture techniques, pond preparation, and seasons; techniques for raising commercial fish in ponds, sizes and breeds, species and stocking density; how to care for and harvest fish; how to recognize and prevent common fish diseases such as hemorrhagic disease, enteritis, wheel parasite disease, etc. Some advanced scientific and technical applications in aquaculture were introduced; the latest equipment and machinery in supporting aquaculture.

Through the training course, farmers will be able to grasp basic knowledge in protecting and developing aquatic resources, regulations in aquaculture, aquaculture exploitation and prohibitions in aquaculture to apply to aquaculture and aquaculture exploitation, gradually raising people's awareness in protecting and developing local aquatic resources.
