Nine more martyrs' remains were searched, exhumed and gathered in Laos.

After 21 days of deployment to carry out the mission of searching for and collecting the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died in Laos in the dry season of 2024-2025. Up to now, the team collecting the remains of martyrs of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command has searched, recovered and collected the remains of 9 Vietnamese martyrs and experts who died in Laos.

Previously, on October 22, the Steering Committee 515 of Nghe An province held a departure ceremony, assigning the task to the Collection Team of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command to carry out the task of searching for and collecting the remains of 80 Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died in the three provinces of Xieng Khouang, Vientiane, and Xay Som Boon, Lao People's Democratic Republic.

After 21 days since the departure, the team for collecting martyrs' remains of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command has searched, recovered and collected 9 remains of Vietnamese martyrs and experts who died in Laos. Of which, in Xieng Khouang province, 7 remains of martyrs were collected; in Xay Som Bun province, 2 remains of martyrs were collected. Currently, the team is bringing the remains of martyrs to the unit's barracks in Phon Xa Van town, Xieng Khouang province (Laos).

In the dry season of 2023-2024, the Collection Team - Provincial Military Command searched, collected, and collected 87 remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died in 3 provinces of Laos, of which Xieng Khouang province collected 75 remains of martyrs, Vientiane province collected 3 remains of martyrs, and Xay Som Bun province collected 9 remains of martyrs.

The remains of 87 martyrs who died in 3 provinces of Laos were searched, recovered and gathered in the dry season of 2023-2024. The Party Committee, government and people of Nghe An province held a solemn memorial service and solemn burial, with deep gratitude for the martyrs' sacrifice for the cause of national liberation, national reunification and noble international duty.
