During a direct inspection at Brigade 86 (Chemical Corps), the working group assessed that the unit had comprehensively deployed all aspects of work, done a good job of ensuring technical support for training and combat readiness tasks; maintained good technical training and technical work order.

Accordingly, the Corps' technical sector has proactively overcome difficulties and comprehensively deployed technical tasks. Notably, in the first 6 months of 2025, the Corps has fully and promptly ensured training tasks, combat readiness, and served the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification; actively trained and prepared technical equipment to serve the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2; and effectively implemented the contents of the Campaign "Management and exploitation of weapons and technical equipment in a good, durable, safe, economical and traffic-safe manner".

The Corps has organized the reception, distribution, and handover of weapons and technical equipment in accordance with regulations; directed units and schools to deploy technical assurance, maintain good technical coefficients for chemical equipment groups; and ensured absolute safety for the system of warehouses, stations, and workshops...
Regarding digital transformation, the Logistics and Engineering Department of the Corps has deployed many contents and measures to promote administrative reform and digital transformation, focusing on developing digital human resources; building digital infrastructure and digitizing technical industry business processes by 2030.

In particular, the Corps has digitized data records for managing weapons and technical equipment; digitized documents on procedures for preservation, maintenance, repair, and electronic human resource management; and applied comprehensive technical management software. Information technology equipment connected to the Military Data Transmission Network (TSLqs) is equipped to 100% of officers and employees of the Corps' Logistics and Technical Department.
All units in the Corps have LAN and TSLqs networks connecting to the technical agencies and technical areas of the units. 100% of officers and employees in the logistics and technical sectors have registered for military email addresses; heads of agencies, schools, units, heads and deputy heads of departments, offices, and assistants of basic sectors have been granted and implemented digital signatures...

Concluding the inspection, Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh assessed that the Party Committee and the Chemical Corps Command had performed well their advisory functions to the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense on force building, training, combat readiness and use of chemical forces in the entire army; and had paid attention to leading and directing the strict implementation of directives, resolutions, plans and instructions from superiors on technical work and digital transformation in accordance with the situation and tasks of the Corps.
Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh requested the Chemical Corps to continue effectively implementing resolutions, directives and plans from above in the coming time on improving the quality of all aspects of technical work; taking the lead in scientific and technological research, exploiting new and modern weapons and equipment; and paying special attention to building, training and developing a team of scientific and technological staff.

Build and successfully complete the task of digital transformation of the technical sector in the period of 2026-2030; strive to successfully complete the contents of the implementation plan of Resolution No. 3488-NQ/QUTU of the Central Military Commission on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation in the Army; widely deploy the "Digital Education for the People" Movement in the technical sector.
