Awarding 335 scholarships to poor students overcoming difficulties

On October 18, the Quang Ngai Provincial Children's Fund coordinated with the Zhi Shan Foundation to award scholarships to 335 students who have overcome difficulties in districts and towns in Quang Ngai province.

In Duc Pho town, the delegation awarded 75 scholarships, Mo Duc district 82 scholarships, Nghia Hanh district and Tu Nghia district each 89 scholarships. Each gift is worth 1.1 million VND, including: 800,000 VND in cash and books. The total cost of this scholarship is 368.5 million VND.

Mr. Dinh Duy Long, Director of the Quang Ngai Provincial Children's Fund, awarded scholarships to students.

The above gifts are a source of spiritual encouragement, helping children have more motivation to excel in their studies as well as in life for a better future.

Up to now, the "Overcoming Difficulty Scholarship" program sponsored by ZhiShan Foundation has provided long-term support to 335 students and 65 university students from Quang Ngai who are studying at universities and colleges nationwide.
