Insomniac Games' data for the upcoming Wolverine game leaked

The data stolen by the hackers included internal HR documents, screenshots of employee Slack conversations, ... but most notably, the unreleased Wolverine game.

The game files contain details about the game's design, characters, and actual screenshots. There is also a publishing deal that has been signed between Sony and Marvel, which includes three X-Men games in the future, the first being Wolverine , the other two are yet to be named. It is also said that Sony must release Wolverine by September 1, 2025, while the remaining installments will be released in late 2029 and 2033, respectively.

When the group initially issued a ransom demand to Insomniac Games, it also put up an auction for the company's data, and it appears some of it was purchased. The ransomware group claims that all unsold data has been released, but only 98% of the stolen information has been made public.
