Provincial Road 756, a potentially dangerous road, has been completed after complaints.

(DN) - After Dong Nai Newspaper, Radio and Television reported that one side of Provincial Road 756 was not yet completed, posing a potential risk of accidents, the Dong Nai Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board urgently directed the construction unit to handle the situation thoroughly. On August 30 and 31, the road surface was completely paved with asphalt, and reflective paint was applied to 3 electric poles to warn and ensure safety for traffic participants.

Previously, the 120m long, 3m wide road on the right side from Nha Bich to Loc Quang, in Viet Tan hamlet, Loc Quang commune, could not be paved due to 3 unremoved electric poles. Due to the lack of warning signs, many accidents had occurred here, especially at night or in the rain. Local people and authorities had made many requests but had not been resolved.

According to Mr. Vu Ngoc Hung, Head of Project Management Department 6 ( Dong Nai Province Construction Investment Project Management Board), Provincial Road 756 was basically completed and put into use in 2023. However, due to 3 electric poles managed by Loc Ninh Electricity, the road surface in front of Loc Quang Parish gate could not be completed, posing a potential risk to traffic safety.

Deputy Director in charge of the Dong Nai Province Construction Investment Project Management Board, Dinh Tien Hai, said: After completing the asphalt carpet and reflective paint, the unit will continue to coordinate with Loc Ninh Electricity to soon relocate 3 electric poles out of the sidewalk area, thoroughly handling the existing problems.

Provincial Road 756 is 50km long, started construction in 2020 and completed and put into use in 2023 with a total cost of 495 billion VND, invested by the former Binh Phuoc Province Construction Investment Project Management Board. This is a key project, connecting inter-districts, the starting point intersects with National Highway 14 (belonging to the old Minh Lap commune, now the new Nha Bich commune) and the ending point intersects with Provincial Road 759B (belonging to the old Loc Hiep commune, now the new Loc Quang commune).
