Waking up in the morning, curled up in a warm blanket, the sound of rain pattering on the roof. Another day when the raindrops chose to fall on Hoi An. The row of houses with high and low tiled roofs were submerged in the light raindrops flying.
I knew Hoi An was beautiful, but I never thought it would be as beautiful in the rain! The rain in Hoi An makes people feel a pure sadness; so they put their arms around each other, huddle together to seek shelter.
Each raindrop is as clear as jade, without dust. Hoi An people and tourists seem to live in the rain!
Hoi An in the rain seems more beautiful, strange and indescribably sad. The streets become magical, "entice" people to distant echoes. Slowly, people open their umbrellas and walk... in the rain.
Sometimes the whole Tran Phu street is filled with umbrellas. Then when your feet are tired, find a pretty shop, warm your hands with a hot cup of coffee or a cool, fragrant drink...
The world outside the window still breathes slowly with each beat of love. A few couples walking together in the rain suddenly make Hoi An strangely lovely!
Mossy walls, ancient roofs, pretty little roads and boats filled with colorful lanterns are catching each short and long drop of rain, making people's hearts flutter and feel strangely moved.
