Ensuring safety for more than 4,000 tourists staying in Sam Son

According to statistics, as of the afternoon of July 21, at the Sam Son beach resort, Thanh Hoa province, there were more than 4,000 tourists staying at motels and hotels. Accommodation establishments have been implementing plans to ensure the safety of tourists.

On the afternoon of July 21, information from Sam Son ward and Nam Sam Son ward, Thanh Hoa province said that up to now, in Sam Son area, there are still 95 hotels with more than 4,000 tourists staying before, during and after storm No. 3.

Of which, at the FLC Sam Son eco-tourism resort complex, there are 696 tourists staying. To ensure the safety of tourists, this resort has reinforced and ensured the safety of the electricity and water system, ready to operate and support in all situations.

FLC eco-resort staff regularly ask tourists not to swim or walk in dangerous areas, especially during strong storms.

Faced with unforeseen weather conditions, tourism service businesses in Sam Son have flexibly adjusted, postponed or canceled services.

For customers who have pre-booked food and entertainment services, tourism businesses in Sam Son also commit to refunding or reserving services according to the actual needs of tourists.

Accommodation and tourism businesses in Sam Son maintain a 24/7 staff to support visitors in all situations, expanding on-site amenities such as in-room dining, ensuring visitors have a good experience even when they cannot participate in outdoor activities due to storms.

Temporarily suspend childcare activities, summer activities... due to storm No. 3

In the face of the complicated developments of storm No. 3, the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Hoa has just requested heads of cultural and social departments of communes and wards; heads of affiliated units; preschools; centers; establishments and business households organizing educational activities to seriously implement response to storm No. 3.

Thanh Hoa Department of Education and Training requires units to temporarily suspend childcare activities during the summer at preschools; centers and businesses that organize educational activities until storm No. 3 dissipates and safety is ensured before resuming operations.

Absolutely do not organize summer activities, especially in areas at risk of flooding and landslides. Set up a communication channel with parents to manage students, minimizing the risks that may occur due to storm No. 3.
