PALS supports Quang Tri to build 2 classrooms at Raman 2 school

The People's Committee of Quang Tri province has just issued Decision No. 3085/QD-UBND dated December 17, 2024 approving the project "Construction of 02 classrooms at the remote location of Raman 2 village, Xy Kindergarten, Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province" sponsored by Pacific Links Foundation (PALS).

The total project capital is 1.25 billion VND, including: non-refundable aid capital of 1 billion VND; counterpart capital: Huong Hoa district budget allocated 250 million VND. The implementation location is at Raman 2 School, Xy Kindergarten (Xy commune, Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province). The project implementation period is until April 30, 2025.

The project's goal is to build a better learning and living environment, contributing to helping the school meet some of the goals of the "Friendly School - Active Students" Program launched by the Ministry of Education and Training .

Specifically, the expected construction scale is a Grade III civil work; Main items: Construction of a new block of 02 kindergarten classrooms and auxiliary items, each classroom has an area of ​​56m2 , There are private male and female restrooms, drying yard, and storage room.

It is known that Ra Man village, Xy commune currently has hundreds of children of preschool age, most of whom are ethnic minority children, with many difficulties and deprivations in life. The PALS organization's sponsorship of the construction of 02 classrooms will create conditions for teachers and students to have more learning and development environments, contributing to the local government's successful implementation of the goal of socializing education .
