Ho Chi Minh City students learn about organic farming through the event “Organic Vibes”

(Dan Tri) - The “Organic Vibes” event at FPT University, Ho Chi Minh City, launched the campaign “Organic is easy with Gen G”, helping students access knowledge about sustainable agriculture and green consumption.

The program is organized by the school in collaboration with organizations operating in the field of ecological agriculture , attracting a large number of students, lecturers, experts and businesses to participate.

Strengthening understanding of clean agriculture

In the opening session, representatives of the organizing committee and experts shared about the current situation and development potential of organic agriculture in Vietnam. Dr. Ha Phuc Mich - Chairman of the Vietnam Organic Agriculture Association, emphasized the role of young people in changing consumer habits and promoting clean production.

The program also had the participation of representatives of Naturland (Germany) in Vietnam, sharing experiences in developing organic agriculture in European countries, thereby suggesting lessons that can be applied in the context of Vietnam.

Take the "Organic Vibes" Tour: Indulge the Senses

The highlight of the event was the “Organic Vibes Tour” experience, a series of hands-on activities and tours that helped students directly access the production and consumption processes of organic products.

At the SEN 'ZUI' Workshop area, participants are guided to make their own organic succulent juices, an activity that is both practical and helps them better understand how to prepare clean food.

Visitors can interact at the exhibition area, discovering messages about sustainable agriculture.

In addition, more than 10 booths from organic agricultural production units displayed and introduced many products such as vegetables, processed foods, natural health care products, etc. The notable point is that the units all had detailed introductions about the origin and production process, helping students better understand the concept of "organic standards".

Organic product booths at the event attracted the attention of many students.

More than 1,000 trial gifts were given to participants to encourage experimentation and change consumer habits towards a healthier direction.

An artistic perspective on green living

An interactive photo exhibition area called “Organic Lens” was also held in parallel, displaying the winning works from the previous online photo contest. Each work expressed the students’ personal views on sustainable living and the role of organic farming in modern life.

Through interactivity and explanations of each work's content, the exhibition area has attracted the attention of many young people, helping to spread messages about environmental protection in a close and accessible way.
