At the exam site of Vo Thi Sau High School, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City, there are about 600 candidates from Vinschool High School, Vietnam-Australia International School and Vo Thi Sau High School (Binh Thanh District).

Among them was male student GB (grade 12A5 student, Vo Thi Sau High School) who had just had an appendectomy and was being treated at Gia Dinh General Hospital (Binh Thanh District) and was taken to the exam location by ambulance.

According to information from the teacher, despite being granted special graduation, the male student still tried to go to the exam location by ambulance, hoping to complete the exam.

"The male student was hospitalized for appendectomy on the night of June 25. The hospital informed him that he would have to stay in the hospital for at least 5 days. On the day of the exam procedures, the exam council received the information.

The examination council has created conditions to invite parents to come and do the procedures, and find ways to support candidates in the most convenient way so that they can complete the exam. On time for the exam, an ambulance will take you from the hospital to the school, the car will be on standby outside, and at the end of the exam, medical staff will pick you up," said Ms. Le Kim Mai - deputy head of the exam site at Vo Thi Sau High School.

Ms. Mai said the male student's surgery wound was still painful, he had to walk slowly but could still sit and do his homework.

"We assigned exam supervisors and exam room supervisors to provide timely support to candidates. After the exam, you were taken by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment. When I saw your smile in the exam room, I felt relieved," Ms. Mai shared.

According to the reporter's investigation, Gia Dinh General Hospital has admitted a patient named GB who is being treated at the hospital's surgery department. Currently, the patient's health is stable.
