Da Nang: Cooperation in innovation in the field of civil aviation

DNVN - At the Danang Innovation and Startup Festival 2025 (SURF 2025) that recently took place, Danang International Airport and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) of the city agreed to sign a cooperation agreement to promote innovation and startup.

The two sides cooperate to promote the open innovation model in the civil aviation sector. Connecting innovative product and service solutions to the airport sector. At the same time, promoting the development of the Danang open innovation ecosystem, creating an environment for businesses and individuals with passion to interact, learn and cooperate, explore smart solutions, promoting sustainable development of both sides.

Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Da Nang Pham Ngoc Sinh (white shirt) and Deputy Director of Da Nang International Airport Le Hoai Nam represented the two units to sign the cooperation agreement.

The two sides effectively coordinated to organize a program connecting startups with partners at Da Nang International Airport; displaying, introducing and exhibiting innovative products; exchanging experts in related fields; providing legal advice in digital transformation; spreading knowledge and experience through workshops, seminars and events.

At the same time, coordinate the organization of connection programs, training programs to improve management and executive capacity; training programs on pioneering technologies such as artificial intelligence, AI, Blockchain, etc. Connecting innovative ideas and products of innovative enterprises to exploitation at Da Nang International Airport.

The Department of Science and Technology of Da Nang assigned the City's Center for Supporting Innovative Startups to be the focal point; the Da Nang International Airport assigned the Department of Environmental Technology to be the focal point, advising on the organization and implementation of this cooperation agreement. Annually, the two sides will review, supplement and amend this document to suit actual conditions.

According to Mr. Nguyen Viet Toan - Director of the Danang Center for Supporting Innovative Technology, the cooperation will open up opportunities to display, introduce, experience, and deploy the city's technological solutions, products, and innovations to tourists, creating conditions for innovation in infrastructure and services at Danang International Airport. Thereby promoting the application of new technologies and digital transformation in the fields of civil aviation and public services.
