Gasoline price up to nearly 20,000 VND/liter

DNVN - From 3:00 p.m. on July 31, gasoline prices (except diesel) were adjusted up, pushing the price of RON 95 III gasoline up to nearly 20,000 VND per liter.

According to the price management decision of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, the retail price of domestic petroleum products will be applied at a new level from 3:00 p.m. on July 31.

Specifically, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline increased by VND122/liter to VND19,401/liter. RON 95 III gasoline increased by VND131/liter to VND19,840/liter. Kerosene and fuel oil recorded increases of VND86/liter and VND154/kg, respectively, to the new prices of VND18,714/liter and VND15,533/kg. Meanwhile, diesel oil decreased by VND61/liter to VND19,068/liter.

RON 95 III gasoline price increased to VND 19,840/liter from 3:00 p.m. on July 31, 2025.

Explaining this adjustment, the regulator said that the world oil market from July 24-30 was affected by many conflicting factors such as geopolitical tensions, information about the US-EU trade agreement and fluctuations in US crude oil inventories. These factors caused the world's finished product prices to fluctuate up/down depending on the item, leading to corresponding adjustments in domestic prices.

In this management period, the management agency decided not to set aside and not to use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for all products. The management objective is to ensure that domestic prices move in line with world prices, harmonize interests between parties and encourage the use of E5 bio-fuel.
