Google organizes a contest to support the technology startup community in Vietnam

DNVN - The Google for Startups: AI Solutions Lab 2025 program officially took place in Da Nang, opening up opportunities for the technology startup community to apply artificial intelligence (AI) to practical products.

On August 26, Google Vietnam cooperated with the Da Nang Center for Research, Training on Microchip Design and Artificial Intelligence (DSAC) to organize the Google for Startups: AI Solutions Lab 2025 competition. This is a large-scale AI program for the technology startup community in Vietnam, taking place until August 29 at Software Park No. 2, Da Nang City.

The program aims to promote the application of AI in practical products, focusing on solving economic , social and environmental challenges, especially in key areas such as logistics and healthcare. Participating startups will receive comprehensive support: from building, scaling, security to product launch strategy, under direct advice from Google experts.

The program opens up a journey to upgrade AI startups.

According to the organizers, the teams will go through many specific challenges, develop ideas and refine GenAI solutions, receive guidance on setting up and optimizing performance on Google Cloud, build rapid prototypes and test versions (MVPs), and participate in workshops to perfect product presentation skills.

The ten best teams will have the opportunity to introduce their products to investors and major technology partners at Google Vietnam's key AI event.

Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee, Mr. Ho Quang Buu, emphasized: "Da Nang considers innovative startups as a pillar in developing a knowledge-based economy. The city not only cares about support policies but also strengthens cooperation with international technology corporations, in which Google is an important strategic partner. With this program, startups will have access to advanced AI tools and platforms, and will be directly advised by international experts - valuable luggage to confidently integrate and reach out globally."

According to Mr. Buu, in the development strategy until 2030, Da Nang aims to train at least 3,000 AI human resources, develop at least 20 "Make in Da Nang" AI products, and at the same time perfect incentive mechanisms and policies, build digital infrastructure and high-performance computing systems, in order to create a dynamic startup environment and international integration.
