At the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long emphasized that this year's exam has many special features, as this is the first time the exam is organized according to the 2018 General Education Program, while students studying under the old program (2006) still take part in the exam. Therefore, the preparation work needs to be carried out more carefully and closely to ensure the exam takes place seriously, safely and smoothly.

The Deputy Prime Minister noted that Quang Ninh province must not be subjective in the face of hot weather, and must proactively prepare all response plans to any arising situations, even the smallest ones, to provide maximum support to candidates during the exam.

In addition, he requested central ministries, branches and localities to continue reviewing preparation items, from exam security, ensuring health and food hygiene and safety, to maintaining security and order at exam sites, creating the most favorable conditions for candidates both physically and mentally.

Quang Ninh mobilized 3,500 people to serve the exam.

According to the report of the Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam in Quang Ninh province, the whole province has 19,930 candidates registered for the exam, an increase of nearly 2,000 candidates compared to 2024. The provincial Department of Education and Training has arranged 40 exam sites with 849 exam rooms, all located at schools with good facilities and convenient transportation.

To ensure the exam takes place safely and seriously, Quang Ninh has mobilized about 3,500 officials, teachers, medical staff, police and other support forces to participate in the exam organization. In addition to the Provincial Steering Committee, districts, towns and cities have also established local Steering Committees to promptly deploy exam service conditions.

The province has also prepared adequate human resources, equipment, medical conditions, disease prevention, food hygiene and safety, and security and order at the examination sites. With the unique terrain of islands, Quang Ninh has arranged specialized police forces to transport exam papers to remote areas, and at the same time applied technical measures to prevent cheating using high-tech equipment.

In addition, the testing sites have also prepared lunch for candidates from far away and have plans to support travel and accommodation for students in remote areas, especially in case of bad weather and floods.
